Factor out common sub expressions for common variables: Example: Assuming there is a union C of A and B, ?A.x = expr(a.id) and ?B.x = expr'(b.id) So we are looking for expressions that are equalTo each other, based on a given mapping of variables We can keep the binding ?C.x = expr(c.id), so there is no need to translate the expr to sql.
